Open House for Exchange Student Saturday-- and Looking for Chest of Drawers

We are getting a foreign exchange student from Moldova tomorrow! Her name is Diana and she is 16 years old and we are excited to have her come be a part of our family this year. We want her to feel welcome and to get to know the members of our ward and community, as well as the great LDS youth who will be attending school with her since she has left all of her family and friends to come have this experience.

So, you are all invited to an open house to welcome her into our community on Saturday Evening from 6:30 - 7:30 at our house. We will have some Moldovan Refreshments and you can have a chance to mingle and learn about her and her country (she will give a brief presentation around 7 about it). Then from 7:30 to 8:30/9 we will be having a youth game night and You Tube favorites night for any of your youth who would like to stick around. Please inform your youth and encourage them to invite their friends from the high school/seminary as well.

Also and we need to buy a dresser for our spare room that she can use. We found one in Henderson for $20, but if anyone happens to have one they would like to sell, it would be easier for us to get one in Boulder City. We are looking to pay between $20 and $30 for a used one, it needs to be no more than 33" wide, and come from a smoke free home. If you happen to have one or know of one, let us know. A nightstand with drawers and a lamp would be useful too if you have any DI bound as well.
